Lawn Care Technician / Crew Member
CNY Lawns – Cortland, NY
CNY Lawns is a growing local lawn care company serving Cortland and surrounding areas. We’re looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team for the 2026 season and beyond!
Position Details:
-Full-time employment from spring through fall (Typically April- November)
-Part-time winter work available (snow removal or other tasks) with unemployment opportunities
-Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday work
-Pay: $18 – $25 per hour (based on experience) + overtime pay
What You’ll Do:
-Mow, edge, trim, and blow residential and commercial properties
-Perform lawn maintenance, w**ding, mulching, and basic landscaping tasks.
-Operate zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and other equipment safely
-Keep job sites clean and provide excellent customer service
-Work outdoors as part of a small, friendly team
What We’re Looking For:
-Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-Ability to work in all weather conditions
-Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
-Physically fit – able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet all day
-Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is preferred, but we will train motivated candidates
-Must be dependable and take pride in your work
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly pay ($18–$25/hr) based on experience
