Ever tried getting a big pot out of a kitchen cabinet, only to find that the strip of wood between the doors is in your way?

That's exactly the problem we addressed for a homeowner in Coppell, TX.

By removing the center stile, we created one wide opening for larger custom pullout shelves. More accessible storage, less reaching and maneuvering, and no need to replace the cabinets.

Sometimes the best kitchen improvement starts by taking something out.

A full kitchen remodel is not the only way to add useful storage.
For this laundry room in The Colony, TX, we installed North Point Kitchen Cabinetry above and beside the washer and dryer to add storage, a folding counter, and a finished built-in look.
These cabinets are custom-fit to the space and available in North Point Kitchen Cabinetry’s established colors and styles. They are not custom-built cabinets, and we do not color-match existing cabinetry.
Kitchens Alive is known for custom pull-out shelves, but we also create practical storage solutions for laundry rooms, utility areas, toilet toppers, pantries, and other small spaces.

Small cabinet. Big opportunity.

Most cabinets this size would normally get two pull-out shelves. This customer wanted storage for smaller specialty items, so we fit three custom pullouts instead.

That’s the nice thing about custom. We’re not trying to make your cabinet fit our product—we build the pullouts to fit your cabinet and what you actually want to store.

Custom pull-out shelves for your existing cabinets throughout DFW.

Working from home? This Melissa, TX homeowner found a better use for an underused closet.
Custom pull-out shelves created organized home office storage for a printer, supplies, files, and equipment. The printer glides forward when needed and tucks away when work is done.
Custom pull-out shelves aren’t just for kitchens and bathrooms. They can make closets, pantries, and utility spaces work harder, too.

We Can’t Make Your Mixer Lighter. We Can Make It Easier to Lift.

A heavy stand mixer can be tough to pull from a lower cabinet. For this Dallas installation, an existing top drawer ruled out a mixer lift. Our custom pull-out shelf brings the mixer forward so it is easier to reach, get a secure grip, and lift from a more stable position.

The mixer still weighs the same—but better access makes a difference.

Tall bottles? Heavy items? No problem.
For this Dallas, TX customer, we removed the existing cabinet shelf to create extra height and installed custom solid white birch pullouts designed around what they actually needed to store.
The heavy-duty bottom pullout has a 200-lb capacity—ideal for liquor bottles, tumblers, small appliances and other tall or heavy items. The shorter upper pullout keeps shot glasses, accessories and smaller items organized and easy to reach.

What happens if a pull-out shelf ever needs service?
We recently received a call from a customer whose custom drawer under the cooktop wasn't soft closing properly. We installed it about two years ago.
After a quick inspection, it turned out to be a simple adjustment. A few minutes later, the drawer was opening and soft closing perfectly again.
The customer expected to pay for a service call. Instead, we told him there was no charge—it was covered by our lifetime warranty.
We believe a warranty should be more than words on paper. It should mean standing behind your work long after the installation is complete.
If you're considering custom pull out shelves, choose a company that's still there when you need them.
