This one was an easy one for us! Our client had already completed the scuff sanding and supplied the paint, so we just had to get it finished up and looking fresh.

Painted in Sherwin-Williams Sealskin with a beautifully refinished wood top, this cabinet got a whole new look while keeping its original charm. We also kept the existing hardware to tie it all together.

A special project like this is why we love what we do. ❤️

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on a six-piece custom furniture project for a wonderful client. These handmade pieces were originally built by their granddad, making them much more than furniture, their family history.

Our goal was simple: preserve the character, craftsmanship, and memories while giving each piece a fresh new life for the next generation to enjoy.

Every piece was carefully cleaned, stripped, repaired, refinished, and updated while respecting the original details that made them special.

Thank you to our client for trusting us with such meaningful family heirlooms. Projects like this remind us that furniture isn’t just wood and hardware, it’s memories, traditions, and a legacy worth preserving.

We’ve been a little quiet on the Salty Fox Salvage page lately, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been hard at work.

We recently wrapped up a six-piece furniture project for a client that we’re excited to share with y’all in the next few days. We’ve also been spending a lot of time putting the finishing touches on a side project that’s been keeping us busy behind the scenes.

We’re happy to announce that Salty Fox Bungalow is officially ready and now booking guests! If you find yourself in Southern Illinois and need a place to crash, we’d love for you to check it out.
