ANOTHER SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK‼️ is looking probable as a very strong storm system is to ramp up Sunday into Sunday Night.

⚠️A BIG LINE OF STORMS moving into an extremely sheared environment AFTER DARK will set the stage for fast-moving QLCS TORNADOES (EF-2+ Tornadoes Possible) at night across the portions of the Mid-South (especially across Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, and Missouri)...

‼️DO NOT SLEEP NAKED- Have a plan ready, closed-toed shoes by the bed, a way to be woken up quickly if a tornado warning issued. Nighttime Tornadoes are the deadliest type of tornadoes.

⚠️SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK & TORNADO RISK will push east overnight and into Monday across the Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas, where a Tornado & Damaging Wind Risk will exist. Some of these tornadoes could be STRONG (EF2+)

‼️ SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK POSSIBLE SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT

Another strong storm system is expected to ramp up Sunday, bringing the potential for a large line of severe storms stretching from Texas into the Midwest.

➡️ PRIMARY THREAT:

💨 SIGNIFICANT DAMAGING WINDS POSSIBLE (75+ mph)

Thunderstorms are expected to develop along a strong cold front Sunday afternoon, quickly organizing into a powerful squall line that sweeps east during the evening and overnight hours.

Widespread 60–70 mph winds are possible, with pockets of significant wind damage where gusts exceed 75 mph.

➡️ TORNADO THREAT:

🌪️ QLCS TORNADOES POSSIBLE — SOME COULD BE STRONG

As this line of storms moves into an extremely sheared environment after dark, fast-moving embedded tornadoes may develop within the squall line.

There is also some uncertainty regarding storms ahead of the line, but if pre-frontal supercells can develop they could be capable of producing stronger tornadoes.

⏱️ TIMING
• Sunday Afternoon: Storms begin developing along the cold front
• Sunday Evening–Overnight: Squall line moves east with damaging winds and embedded tornadoes
• Late Night: Severe threat continues shifting east

⚠️ BOTTOM LINE:
A fast-moving line of severe storms capable of widespread damaging winds (75+ mph) and nighttime tornadoes may develop Sunday evening and overnight.

⚠️ DO NOT SLEEP NAKED.
Have multiple ways to receive warnings overnight, keep closed-toe shoes by the bed, and be ready to move quickly if a Tornado Warning is issued. 🌪️
