Let’s Pray Memphis — Citywide Prayer for Protection & Peace

Father God,

We come to You today on behalf of our beloved city, Memphis. As watchmen and intercessors, we take our place on the wall to cover every street, every neighborhood, and every soul with the blood of Jesus.

Lord, stretch out Your hand of protection against every storm, both natural and spiritual. We rebuke and bind the threat of tornadoes, hail, flooding, and destructive winds. Let Psalm 91 cover our city: “He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Dispatch angels to stand guard over our children, families, elderly, city workers, emergency responders, and government leaders. Let divine order, not chaos, rule the day. We command peace to reign over Memphis—peace in the skies, peace on the roads, and peace in the hearts of the people.

We declare Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against thee shall prosper.”
We declare Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
We declare Job 22:28: “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee…”

Lord, we humble ourselves and seek Your face. Heal the land, purify the atmosphere, and let the fire of revival burn through Memphis. We call this city a dwelling place of Your glory, not destruction.

Cover us, Father. Seal us. Surround us.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray,
