Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Good Friends and Faithful Patrons!

With hearts full of gratitude, we offer our most humble thanks unto all who did visit our stall this spring season and carry home plants from our little nursery. By thy kindness and support, another wondrous season hath come to pass.

Now doth Queens Nursery retire from the farmers’ markets for the summer months, though only for a spell. Whilst absent from the market square, we shall be tucked away in our own small corner of paradise; potting, sowing, tending green and growing things, and venturing unto distant lands in search of curious plants and new arts of greenhouse cultivation.

Fear not, for when autumn’s cooler winds begin to blow, we shall return once more with fresh treasures and tales of our travels.

Until then, stay tuned for the adventures yet to come.

And remember, dear friends:

Life is but a grand adventure, and ’tis for each of us to make it happen in our own way.

From the very bottom of our hearts, we thank thee for thy patronage, thy encouragement, and thy fellowship throughout this season.

Godspeed, and may thy gardens flourish.

Hear ye, hear ye! Queens Nursery shall once more set up shop at the Cooper Young Farmers Market on the morrow from the eighth hour until noon.

This shall be our final market of the summer season ere we retreat unto our own little Hobbiton, there to tend seedlings, whisper unto flowers, and prepare curious treasures for autumn and the year to come.

As thanks for thy patronage, encouragement, and good fellowship this season, all quart pots for this Saturday only shall be marked down to but $5 apiece.

Come buy us out, good folk, lest we be forced to keep talking to the plants ourselves.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Good Folk of Cooper Young and Beyond!

This Saturday from the hour of 8 until Noon, thy humble plant merchants shall make our final appearance of the season at the Cooper Young Farmers Market, ere we vanish like mist upon the moor until Autumn’s return.

To mark this occasion, all Quart Pots be but $5 apiece! A bargain so fair it may well have the tax collector clutching his pearls.

Come relieve us of our botanical wares, lest we be left imprisoned beside castles and cursed to tend them ourselves ‘til Michaelmas.

Seek us out. Spread the word. Carry home a plant or three.

Saturday. 8–12. Cooper Young Farmers Market.

God save the gardeners.

Hear ye, hear ye! A hearty thanketh thee to all good folk who ventured forth to the Cooper Young Farmers Market this past weekend and did grace our humble stand with thy presence. Thy patronage hath filled our hearts and lightened our wagons.

Pray join us once more this coming Saturday from the eighth hour until noon, for this shall be our final Saturday at market. And lo! As a token of our gratitude, all quart pots shall be marked down unto but 5 dollars.

Come ye forth and buyeth us clean out, lest we be forced to carry these botanical treasures home ourselves like weary pack mules. Spread ye the word across the land; tell thy neighbors, thy cousins, and that one friend who swears they ‘haven’t room for another plant’ yet somehow leaveth with three.

Good folk of Memphis, tarry not too long, for the season of planting hast but a few short weeks remaining. Upon the morrow, Queens Nursery shall once more raise its banner at the Cooper-Young Farmers Market from the eighth hour until noon, at 1000 S. Cooper Street.

Pictured herein is Asclepias tuberosa, the famed Butterfly W**d, clothed in fiery orange bloom and cherished by monarchs and wandering pollinators alike. Though this noble flower hath sold from our tables, take heart—for fresh seedlings even now do stir within the greenhouse, preparing for their rightful season.

Many rare and worthy plants yet remain, though their time upon the market groweth short. Come seek hardy natives, blossoms for bees and butterflies, and treasures fit for the Southern garden before the turning of the season be upon us.
