These customers on Okauchee Lake in Oconomowoc were in the process of building this magnificent addition onto their home. They were looking for a way to enjoy this space not only bug free, but also protect them from the harsh winds and weather they experience living in this area. The storms that recently ripped through SE Wisconsin were strong enough to take down giants trees around the entire lake, including two in their backyard the night before. We had been working with a prominent home builder and architect in the area since last year to help design the perfect framing for their new space. We installed three Apollo motorized screens that allow them the ability to enjoy this porch as an extension of their living space, with just the simple click of a remote.
They customized the housing units with a textured Glacier powder coat color that blended incredibly well with their carpentry. Not only have we been growing, but so has our line of custom products. We are excited to now offer motorized awnings! These customers in Waupun, WI were desperately looking for some shade relief in their backyard oasis in the woods. The afternoon and evening sun roasts this porch so much that these homeowners could no longer enjoy their time outside. They were looking for a shade solution to an area that didn’t have a permanent structure. These customers on Powers Lake in Wisconsin were in the process of remodeling their boathouse. They tasked their builder with finding a quality solution for the intense sun they have during the afternoons and evenings on their westward facing shoreline property. After working with other companies in the past, the builder knew these clients were looking for something higher quality that they would appreciate for decades to come. That’s where we came in. They made one call to Tamarack and we took care of them immediately. The process started last winter with designing the proper framing to ensure the highest quality and most aesthetic installation. There are three stages to this project: a motorized awning for the front face of the boathouse, a motorized screen on the garage door, and another awning for the side of the boathouse. We installed this beautiful 13’ motorized awning from SummerSpace that provided the perfect shade solution the customers were looking for. With the simple click of a remote they now have access to a 10’ projection of shade whenever they want it. The textured white framing with solid black fabric was a simple but perfect match for the aesthetic of the boathouse. These customers outside of Dubuque, Iowa along the Mississippi River were enjoying retirement while living on their dream property. This beautiful home sat on one of the tallest points in the area, overlooking three different states from their driveway: Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa.
