You ever go to a greenhouse/landscaping business and wonder how old those small oak trees are? Ever look at the prices of those small oaks and go, "wow, no oak tree for our yard!". Paracress or "The Toothache Plant" is a flowering herb that helps with, among other mouth ailments, tooth pain. Every part of this plant can be used. The flowers, leaves and stems can be consumed raw, cooked, dried or powdered. Tinctures and extracts can also be made with this herb. Cautions include if you have any allergies to daisies, take diuretics, have prostate cancer or are pregnant. Discuss with your doctor before trying this beneficial plant. Blooming occurs between August and October. This is one of many plants that will be available for purchase this spring! Stay tuned for more plant offerings coming soon.
