Mode 6 went down today. Looks like we snapped a leaf spring. Fortunately we had not commissioned Mode 11 yet, so we will be getting that on the road shortly and permanently retiring Mode 6. It will get towed to the shop for repairs and put up for sale in the next few weeks.

Sometime over the next few warm days, turn your thermostat(s) to “Cool” mode to check to make sure your AC is working prior to summer. It is much quicker/easier/cheaper to have any issues fixed now as compared to when it suddenly turns 95°. HVAC is one of those businesses that doesn’t get to shut down because of bad weather. We’ve been doing our best to get to everyone the last few days, although some neighborhoods have been undrivable. We are always going to help as many people as we can, doing things as safely as we can. So it’s pretty hard for us to believe that someone hit one of our work trucks and just took off. It was parked on the street in front of our office on Sommerville Court in Midlothian this morning. If anyone saw anything, please let us know. Luckily, our trucks are outfitted with cameras. The good news is that Dave was not in the truck at the time! Be safe out there.

Reminder! If we get the snowstorm some are predicting this weekend, be sure to clear any snow off of your outdoor unit. Use a broom or warm water (make sure your system is off before you attempt to clear snow or ice off of it). Don’t use a shovel or other sharp tools. Your unit has a defrost cycle but that will not clear the snow off. As always, let us know if you have any questions. Stay safe!m
