Today I am going to show you a concept for a potentially new GAF roof rejuvenation service.
For your knowledge, roof rejuvenation service is only applied to asphalt shingle roofs and requires a roofing contractor’s assessment to determine the current state of an asphalt shingle roof.
What is it?
Over time, asphalt shingles can deteriorate due to weathering and exposure to UV rays. Roof rejuvenation service is a short-term, alternative solution to a full roof replacement that will help extend the lifespan and improve the performance of aging asphalt shingle roofs.
Roof rejuvenation service involves applying a specially formulated treatment of plant-based oils and other additives to asphalt shingles, which can help restore their flexibility, reduce granule loss and significantly darken them, resulting in a more aesthetically appealing and longer-lasting roof.
How is it applied?
Roof rejuvenation service can be applied by a professional roofer year round. The process will involve:
Inspection: The roofer will inspect the roof to assess its condition and determine if it is a good candidate for rejuvenation treatment.
Preparation: The roofer will clean the roof and remove any debris. They may also need to make any necessary repairs to the roof before applying the rejuvenation solution.
Application: The roofer will apply the rejuvenation solution to the roof using a sprayer. The solution will pe*****te the shingles to help restore much of the asphalt shingle’s original properties. The rejuvenation solution will need to absorb into the asphalt for several hours or days before it is fully effective. The solution can only be applied twice before a full roof replacement is needed.
