The Cottage Gardens team had a busy day planting at Arnolds Park Amusement Park — a project that’s been part of our story for many years. From building the process to still being hands-on today, it’s special to watch these traditions (and plants) continue to grow season after season.

Alongside the iconic hanging baskets, we also planted the park planters with one of our favorite combinations:

❄️ Helpful tips for tonight: ❄️
• Bring hanging baskets, tropicals, and tender plants indoors or into a garage if possible
• Cover newly planted annuals and vegetables with sheets or light blankets overnight
• Containers and planters cool down faster than the ground, so give them extra attention
• Cover plants before sunset, then uncover them in the morning

Plants most sensitive to cold include:
Impatiens, SunPatiens®, begonias, coleus, vinca, sweet potato vine, mandevilla/dipladenia, lantana, basil, tomatoes, peppers, and many tropical plants.

Other cool-tolerant flowers may still need protection if frost develops.
