Out with the old in with the new.

I’m always forgetting to take the before pictures. But these 60 plus year old cabinets turned out perfect. I used 80, 120, and then 220 sandpaper to remove the old stain and remove blemishes. 1 thick coat of oil based primer and then two coats of old school enamel. You can really bring something back to life with a little paint!

I have been working off and on on this project for about 3 weeks now. The rain has kept me from being able to finish it quickly, but my oh my what a difference. The original latex paint was chipping and flaking terribly because it was not properly primed before application. Remember YOU CAN NEVER PUT LATEX OVER ANY OIL BASED PRODUCT EXCEPT OIL BASED PRIMER!!! to remedy the situation, all the old loose paint was scraped, an oil based zissner primer was applied for maximum pe*******on, and finally two coats of high quality outdoor satin paint was added to turn this house back into a Home! Thank you for your business! It was a pleasure.
