Last Friday, we came together for our Annual Holiday Party.

This event is always a special time as we reflect on our accomplishments, celebrate one another, and acknowledge the hard work and dedication that make everything we do possible.

Transformed with Safety and Style

Look at the transformation we delivered at Gables Waterway Tower! Steve Weiss-Gables Waterway Towers

From the main lobby to the amenity spaces and residential corridors, our team revitalized the building with both design and function in mind.

What was once an entirely open lobby with no defined entry experience now features a custom-built front desk and a strategically designed privacy wall. This created a welcoming, professional, and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff. We built a space that feels elevated, exclusive, and aligned with the building’s lifestyle.

Beyond the aesthetics, we also enhanced safety by upgrading the building’s Engineered Life Safety System (ELSS), including new sprinklers within residential units. With careful coordination and clear scheduling, our project managers ensured residents remained comfortable and informed every step of the way.

Today, we pause to recognize and thank all who have served our country. We would like to especially recognize two members of our Capital family, Alexander Aquino and Alex Manuel.

Both proudly served 8 years in the U.S. Army, demonstrating the same dedication, discipline, and teamwork that they bring to our projects every day.

Your service and commitment to excellence continue to inspire us all.

Thank you for your sacrifice, your courage, and your continued leadership, in and out of uniform.

The Carlton | Interior Renovation Update

Work is moving right along at The Carlton! The Carlton's interior renovation consists of improving all 15 residential hallways.

The 63 resident units will have their main entrance double doors, service entrance, and utility doors refinished. Our team is removing the existing molding and replacing the door hinges in preparation for new door paneling and door hardware. The 252 total doors are being resurfaced to enhance their appearance and functionality.

Communication and integrity are paramount. When accessing a unit, we place a hanging door tag on the residents' door to notify them that we will be entering the unit at a later scheduled time. A security guard, along with a Capital project manager, oversees the work while the resident's door is open.

In addition to the resident door modification, drywall is being installed on each floor. This includes the ceilings, decorative art wall bump-outs, and the modification of the elevator foyer ceilings.

We are anticipating a beautiful transformation and look forward to sharing more with you soon! 😊
