Mullein torch season is back! Made with Candle Witch grown mullein here in Moline dipped in beeswax from Rock Island county and bayberry wax from Maine, these torches make a fun outdoor addition to a bonfire night, fall ritual, or get together with friends. These torches have their roots back to Roman times where dried mullein would be dipped in tallow and burned to provide a light source, as well as for ritual purposes.

You know the magic you feel when discovering a gem that’s ended up hidden away? We’re feeling that here in shop at Candle Witch Company, as we’ve discovered a half dozen of our handcrafted Lily of the Valley mini soy candles that were tucked away during our move! If you’re one of our Candle Witches who’s been asking us to bring this scent back, you can pop in the shop and grab yourself the last of this years run, as we will not be making more until 2027. Floral, soft, and nostalgic for much of our community, you’ll want to make sure you stock up on this scent before it vanishes again 🕯️✨

Our Cleansing Flame soy candles have been poured and are back in stock for our friends who love this earthy favorite! Combining notes of sandalwood and palo santo, this scent is woodsy, grounding, and creates an enchanting smell for your home and hearth that’s calming after a day of chaos. If you’ve been waiting for Dani & Hannah to handcraft a fresh batch, they are done and ready to go at our new shop location here at 1421 5th Avenue in downtown Moline, IL.

It may be Labor Day, but it’s also a very happy birthday to our cartomancer Dallus! Over the past year Dallus has grown in many ways and been a friend to the whole candle witch community, and we have been grateful to watch and know him along his journey. Dallus, we are so grateful that you are part of the team here at Candle Witch Company, and wish you a happy and restful birthday along with your best year yet. Thank you for sharing your magic with us, and for our friends who love seeing Dallus keep your eyes peeled for him popping up at special events in shop coming up for more free readings, like our 2nd Witches Night Out this October 30th (fun fact: Dallus’ first time reading with us was our first WNO last year!)

THANK YOU MOLINE! This week The Candle Witches announced our soft opening would be this weekend, and you all have already blown us away. While the journey to fixing and renovating our shop has been long, full of twists and turns, tiring, and not quite over yet, so much of our amazing community showed up and showed out yesterday and today in support of us as we officially open and continue to work on this space in preparation for our October 7th Grand Opening!

We are already in love with our sweet shop here in downtown Moline, and are so stoked to have more space and opportunities for enchanting our community than ever before! We are open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 10am-5pm here at 1421 5th Avenue in downtown Moline, and can’t wait for you all to live your best light with us and check out our handcrafted candles, wax melts, and magical gifts for your home and hearth 💜🕯️✨
