I am so thankful for the team we have. We provided custom table arrangements that were LSU inspired for a graduation dinner at Hilton Garden Inn along with linens, chargers and candles. Bagby Rental is our go to for anything rental I do not stock such as the table settings. Catering was provided by Bee Bayou Catering LLC. I am so thankful for other vendors who always goes above and beyond. If there isn't a photo, then it didn't happen. Thank you Candy Simms Hughes for catching the action. Congrats Dr. Ramos!!! Better late than never with me posting the photos I guess. This was in May.

Today's decor tip, which I may have mentioned previously, is to incorporate bud vases into your design for long tables or cocktail tables, as they are absolutely gorgeous when used in multiples. However, for larger round tables, four or five feet in diameter, it is advisable to group and elevate at least one bud vase to create a visually appealing display. Bud vases are most effective on rectangular and cocktail tables, unless elevated. Of course, they can also be used as accents on other tables.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you are the one getting married. The wedding is about the two of you. Lots of people come out of the woodwork and want to give advice. They will mean well, but ultimately it is your day. They can have opinions and they can voice their opinions but do not let their opinions hold weight when your opinion is different. You two are the ones driving the car and at the end of the day it is you two who will be in the car leaving. Keep you two as the focus in all your decisions. Accept advice and opinions, but let it stay there as advice and opinions. Put it off on the planner and say we are the ones that said it. It's okay, I promise! Happy planning!

Let's talk- Budgets are real. You can plan on each guest costing $100 to $150 by the time you count tables, chairs, table cloths, runners, napkins, cutlery, party favors, food, drink on average. What do you do when the budget can't handle everyone? You have an after party that they are invited to. This is heavily done in other cultures and is 100% accepted and 100% planner recommended when budget simply will not allow. There is nothing wrong and most will be happy just to celebrate with you. And if they aren't? It is your day and you did not have to invite them anyway. My best advice is if it causes constraints and if it causes stress-DON'T
