We are proud to be part of Alexandria’s REIGNITE initiative and the transformation of six community parks across the city.

✨🛝Putting the finishing touches on this playground renovation in Alexandria! This is the first of 6 parks currently under renovation across the city.

The blue surface you see is a poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, a durable and accessible surface designed to help create a safer play environment for children of all ages.

This specialized surfacing helps cushion falls, improves accessibility for wheelchairs and mobility devices, and provides a long lasting, low-maintenence alternative to traditional ground covers.

Our goal is to create a playground that is safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone in the community. We look forward to seeing families enjoy this space for years to come!

🌳 Southern Sites Services is excited to partner with the City of Alexandria on a major park improvement initiative. Renovations are underway at 6 different parks across the city!

🎯 The goal of this multi-million dollar project is simple- create safer, more functional, and more enjoyable spaces for families and visitors.

🚧 Improvements Include:
• Upgraded Playground Equipment
• Improved walking trails & sports courts
• New gathering spaces
• Enhanced landscaping
• Updated splash pads & more
