This Saturday folks! We're teaming up again to try getting these furry friends new homes.. come see if you can find your new family member, help the shelter in some way, or simply come have a sandwich and socialize with everyone and learn what all they do at the shelter!

Remember, a portion of all proceeds from sales of sandwiches will go back to the shelter, so help your belly and help them too at the same time!

Just under 2 weeks away y'all!! The Dogs are excited, come join us for food, find a new fur child to add to your family..and even if you cannot adopt, please try to help the shelter and the animals if possible!

As usual, a portion of all the Dogs sales/proceeds from our sandwiches and rubs sold on site will be returned to the shelter to help anyway needed.

So ...Athena just came to me asking if I'd heard the latest news flowing down the Dogs grapevine of inside information. I haven't heard anything myself, but according to her insider information... Union County Animal Services, NC will be having another great adoption event on Saturday August 22nd! 9a-3p, there will be dogs, cats, kittens and puppies of all makes and models looking for loving homes! So if you're in the position to add another furry family member to your line up, please come and take a look around!

Also, from the mumblings of the Pitt Dogs currently, they have every plan to be on site and serving a variety of sandwiches for sale at the event as well! Remember, a portion of all sandwich sales will be going back to the animal shelter to help support as many of our furry friends as possible. So even if you cannot adopt currently, please come and join us for a sandwich and support the shelter anyway possible!

Attn: we are in a season of transition again and I've had to shift my Friday hours to 4PM-6PM starting TODAY 8/31/26.
