MARCH
Presented a participatory activity at during a Lessons for Recovery event, then practiced my twine-making session with the makers group at
APRIL
Took the twine workshop to the conference in Montgomery, AL (yes, Mercury retrograde made a cameo).
MAY
Installed my tile mural at , featuring portraits of student hands in hospital careātiles crafted in collaboration with the Colorado-based
Later that month, I facilitated an activity at the Grief & Joy Gathering hosted by , where community members placed fabric stripsāeach representing a personal wish or worryāon a temporary fence in the River Arts District.
JUNE
At Warren Wilson Collegeās Collaboration for Climate Action summit, attendees from tied fabric strips onto mesh forms. These pieces were added to the same fence, extending our participatory installationāa powerful test of modular public art that connects people, even offsite.
