Check out the size of this monster stump over 8ft. That's a 4ft loggers rule sitting on it. 2, 18ft dump truck loads of chips, over 15k lbs of dirt to fill. Straw and seed put down. What a job this was.

Some recent work. Get them down and put into the woodline is what the customers wanted. The one a big uprooted oak that the roots rotted out causing it to fall. Little bit of a tricky situation.

Some helpful tips on Arbor Day

#1 Do not let someone Top your trees, this can kill them.
#2 Now is NOT the time to PRUNE or TRIM Oaks. This can cause Oak Wilt. Which will kill them.
#3 Do Not let landscapers pile mulch around the trunk of Trees as this can rot the roots and doesn't allow them to breathe.
#4 When Trimming Trees NO more than 20% of the tree should be taken off in one trim.
#5 Make sure who ever you are using is insured
#6 Call utility company first to Trim around powerlines this can potentially save you a ton of money. Also, most companies are not certified or insured to do work around powerlines.
