Just put a coat of danish oil on this cherry shadow box. Made this for my K9 Officer, John Aureliano. I’ll add three coats of wipe on polyurethane next week. I used a locking miter joint to join the 45 degree corners.

Parts have been cut and one side and edge planed. I’ll finish sizing them Monday and cut the legs to shape.

While delivering a retirement gift to a good friend. Wayne Carpenter, I saw this cabinet. I got my tape measure, pencil and paper and took measurements. I’m going to use this tiger maple and walnut and make one for myself.
