On the first episode of “Lose Your Sanity Homesteading with Chelsea”,
I’m convinced all my animals have congregated together and decided to test my mental capabilities.
First, my guard dog thinks the jogger on our road is public enemy number one and has taken it upon herself to enforce the law. She doesn’t want even a toe touching our grass. If you use the opposite side of the road, she’s fine; if you’re on the side of the road that touches our grass, she is NOT FINE.
Two of the chickens are ill, and another one magically started limping today. She has Bumble Foot that will require daily care.
My gander and rooster’s ongoing feud resulted in a chipped bill today. They grew up together and have decided they now hate each other. So our rooster being the kind gentleroo decided to show him how the concrete is undefeated.
Then, to put the icing on the cake, I found Timmy the turkey dangling from the gate with his foot stuck – now he’s refusing to put weight on that leg, so he might require a splint and daily care as well.
