I am thrilled or chilled rather on another terrific purchase of two large window mount air conditioners found on Marketplace! One for schoolroom 1 (studio) and one for schoolroom 2. Thank you Priscilla and her husband for the super chill deal! Going to need it this week going to be hot! The band really appreciates it too!

Not really schoolhouse related but us in the boonies we sometimes have to deal with getting a good cell phone signal.
I now pay $122.00 per month for one line, with no cell service at home. Arrrg!
When mom and I first moved in, we quickly came to find out that we needed to use our WiFi connection for calling and texting. The only way for us to get any signal (one bar if that) i have to walk out towards the road and its still really sketchy. We visited our provider (at&t) in schofield Wi and the service rep gal was very honest with us. After asking where we lived she said “oh you live in dead Dancy?” She then said quote:
“Yah My boyfriend and I go thru there all the time, and yes it’s dead out there! Lol. All of sudden I loved her. She was real ! We did look into other cell providers but all coverage maps show about the same (limited) as they all apparently use the same cell towers.

But now after investigating (FREE) google voice (WiFi call and text) and that i really don’t need cell service in my life . I don’t answer calls in my car anyway and besides the fact that I really don’t go anywhere. But if I do go to the store, clinic, McDonalds, casino, or to the bar they all have WiFi! So if I’m not at home and I am in desperate need to make a call , email or text there are plenty of opportunities.

The only one concerning thing is emergency but could always get a min by min burner to leave in car and most people have cell phones anyway!! lol Only thing I will miss is map but I’m looking into that too for cheap options. So basically it’s only $20.00 for the one time (port my own number) fee and then you get free calls and text!!! I’m saving nearly 1500.00 per year . And this is not an advertisement! Lol
I can still use my iphone as always just with the google voice app instead of the iphone app Icon. I’m old school but sometimes this technology is amazing and can actually be FREE!! Thanks for listening !! Google Voice Rocks! 🤘

Found a killer deal on the flag ship Yamaha RX-A8A receiver that was damaged in shipping. Had to remove the rear panel to repair the speaker binding post connectors. Bent back the rear panel and it works great! Schoolhouse Rocks soon! 🤘

I now have installed my larger pellet stove that I had found on marketplace. Needed a control board. So Jennifer gave me a good deal on it. I then found a board for $800.00 ouch! But it works great and it’s big & beautiful. It’s a beast! Probably really need it on Friday. 🥶 Hard part was cutting another hole in the concrete. As the larger stove pipe exits higher. The old hole is now used for OAK (outside air kit). My other smaller stove will now go in the basement!
