Happy Father’s Day to all of you amazing dads out there!

As some of you may know, my parents divorced when I was very young. I was incredibly fortunate to be loved so deeply by my grandfather — my Paw. He was a hard worker, kind-hearted, and strived daily to be the hands and feet of Christ. He valued his garden, took pride in his yard, and loved having family gathered around the table. He never believed in a “canned” blessing; he would often say, “You’ve got God’s ear — tell Him what you want.”

I’ve been so blessed to be loved by many families and surrounded by a wonderful support system. While I’ve looked up to many people throughout my life, no one will ever fill his shoes.

Today, hug your fathers and grandfathers while you have them. Remember those who are no longer with us, honor their memories, and celebrate the love and legacy they left behind.
