Another project completed by Handyman Fixer!

This screened porch needed much more than a few repairs. Once we got into it, the existing structure was simply too deteriorated to reuse, so we tore it down and rebuilt it from the ground up.

The new porch was expanded from approximately 8' to 12' wide and received a new floor structure, framing, roof structure, screened openings, storm door, flooring, gutters and full-width steps.

We were able to reuse some of the existing metal panels to help keep costs down while giving the customer a much stronger, cleaner and more usable porch.

This was a big project, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

🏡 From Weathered to Welcoming!

This deck had seen years of Utah sun, snow, and weather. The old finish was peeling, the railings needed repairs, and several areas required more than just a fresh coat of stain.

Here's what went into bringing it back to life:

Thank you again to everyone who has been reaching out. My schedule is filling quickly, and I’m currently booking July projects now.

If another large deck project is approved, the end of July and possibly the first part of August may fill up as well. If you have repairs, maintenance, deck work, minor plumbing or electrical, door hardware, roof vent sealing, or other home projects you’ve been putting off, now is a good time to reach out.

I do have limited after-hours availability depending on the project, especially for smaller repairs or urgent items.
