Carbon Collective has released their paint polishing system for 2026
The start is German abrasives, but not an off the shelf white label formula, one that took nearly 3 years to refine and refine until the final products made the grade in testing
Microfibre Polishing Compound relies on the use of a microfiber pad to control pad speed, cut and heat. This is a P1500 rating for scratch removal, yet still breaks down and steps out to fine. OG customers that used PRIMA (Carbonâs original abrasive offering) will be happy with this âupgradeâ
Concours Ceramic Glaze may not be for everyone. Itâs a finisher for sure, and it utilizes an Si02 filling agent. We tell you about that up front, we KNOW how things are in this industry⌠but there IS a place for this. As I said in a story a week ago; Concours is where budget, polishing skill, or material on panel may be lacking⌠preservation of material where it really counts, an easy micro abrasive to make things look proper AND introduce an Si02 layer. Can be used as a stand alone OR as your base prior to applying a ceramic coating. Carbon has been applying ceramic during the testing phase, and Iâll be doing the same with it very soon as I personally want confirmation and a longevity rating
Iâve had several pros with both in use, people are happy with both, comments are coming mostly from Concours as theyâre amazed with the finish - and they know full well what they are achieving for those clients
