I’ve been sitting with the fact that this table is a visible representation of answered prayers. I’ve been longing for the day where I could find my voice in the fine art world and create pieces that people will connect with.
It’s so easy for me to keep thinking ahead, however, I do not want to miss THIS season. 🙏🏻 thank you for being a part of this journey! I’m so excited to keep going.

When life is full for me, social media seems to carry extra weight - I feel stretched thin and have a hard time fully showing up. However, after my quiet time today, I felt called to show up as I was and simply share.
It’s passages like this that make me fall in love with Jesus and the Bible even more. Human nature hasn’t changed that much and Jesus remains the same. He is gentle and He is kind. He doesn’t beg for my attention in a distracted world, He just lovingly reminds me that sitting at His feet and setting my gaze on Him is the one thing I need. The rest is just noise. Oh how I desperately need Him.
Sharing this for me and also anyone else who may need to hear this. This passage is one I need a reminder of daily - to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to Him.

“The one thing needful evidently is that which Mary chose — that good part which should not be taken away from her. Very clearly this was to sit at Jesus’ feet, and hear his word.” (Spurgeon)

· To sit at the feet of Jesus implies readiness to accept and obey what Jesus teaches.

· To sit at the feet of Jesus implies submission to Jesus; rebellion is done with.

· To sit at the feet of Jesus implies faith in who Jesus is.

· To sit at the feet of Jesus implies discipleship.

· To sit at the feet of Jesus implies love.

In honor of all the transitions happening in my life, I decided to re-introduce myself with a few facts about me!
I am originally from Scottsboro, Alabama and went to LSU for college where I studied business and communications. I now live in Nashville, Tennessee and have called this place home for 14 years (as of today!!) 🤯
I love Jesus
I love my family
I love my friends
I love being creative
I love coffee shops
I love good music
I’ve done a lot of silly things in my life and have made a lot of mistakes and I’m quite literally here because somebody prayed. 🙏🏻 God is up to something big in my life. I appreciate y’all for being here and walking alongside me to witness it all!
