Barn Update ✨
Patio porch is looking good! We just got the tongue and groove (or T&G I just learned) installed on the ceiling. I mean COME ON.
Two big factors when designing this space was 1. Screened in porch 2. Lots of ceiling fans! Our summers are intense here in TN, and living directly across to a pond the mosquitoes can be equally annoying!
We had cedar panels installed on the interior to help maintain the screen (we have two Belgian Malinois and they are wrecking balls)
To save on living room space we nixed a front door altogether, so the main entrance to the Barndominium is now through the porch and into these gorgeous bifold patio doors!
Decking should be installed in the next few weeks, I can’t wait to see it all together! This is the perfect hang place for my in laws to enjoy the fresh air and maybe see a deer or two
