Sausage Gravy Part 2 is the finished product! For breakfast the next morning, I did use the extra milk, extra flour, using Bacon Up as my grease to mix up and make my Rue/ Gravy and added it to the left over gravy with all that sausage…yummy. That’s how I do it! No waste.

Here is part 2 of the Leaf lettuce recipe. I know this is not a healthy meal, but it’s my mother’s favorite and that’s why I made this, with love!!
Leaf lettuce, hot bacon grease from the bacon poured over the leaf lettuce with green onions, crumbled bacon, fried green tomatoes and fried cornbread! You may need to add a little vegetable oil or lard….that’s what mommy would use. I fried 12 oz. Pkg. of Bacon.
I used 3 slices for my salad.

Here you go.. Part 1 of my mother’s favorite meal. Hot bacon grease leaf lettuce salad with chopped green onions and bacon on top. Hot grease from the bacon pored all over the lettuce with fried green tomatoes and fried cornbread!! With a glass of sweet tea!! Yummy!
