Listen, to all the scammers who keep messaging me about my boards, all of you say the exact same thing. It’s pretty obvious at this point. I’m just deleting your messages. You can stop.

Had some stray wood floating around that was too nice to be “scrap” but didn’t quite fit with some other projects. So why not just glue them all together and see what happens. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This new board has some major fall vibes! 🍁 it looks great but it was a major pain in my neck! Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. 🤦🏻‍♂️ regardless, this is a beautiful board made of walnut, maple, cherry, and bloodwood!

You mean I get to do this my whole life?😮😁

Ya know…sometimes the math just doesn’t math, but it’ll look good and that’s all that matters. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

One of the boards I’ve made recently. Walnut, maple, cherry, and bloodwood. 🩸🪵

So… why “Last Light”?

The picture below is a pretty common scene whenever I’ve got a project going. I’ll be out in my little shop until 11… 12… sometimes even 1 in the morning.

Once I get into a project, I completely lose track of time. The music is on, the sawdust piles up, and before I know it, the whole world has gone to bed.

Then I finally step outside. Everything is pitch black except for one thing… my little shop. It’s the last light on.

That moment became pretty consistent over the years. A fitting reminder that I love doing this. Long after the day is over, I’m still out there turning rough lumber into something that’ll be used, admired, and hopefully passed down for years to come.
