We have a special interest in plant health and stay up to date on insects, diseases, weeds and cultural practices that may affect your landscape which, in turn, protects your investment. Our IPM (Integrated Pest Management) based Plant Health Care includes customized maintenance programs and pest monitoring. Carriage House Landscape Design offers two maintenance programs. First, if you are a Do-It

-Yourselfer, after inventorying the plants on your property, we provide a Customized Care Schedule which will enable you to care for your property yourself at the correct times. Your property is inventoried and the customized plan is carried out by Carriage House Landscape Design’s team of professionals at the proper times. With over 15 years of experience, Lori Metz, owner/designer, combines her knowledge of plants with creativity to assure that plants chosen for your landscape design will thrive and continue to provide years of enjoyment. Designs are created for year-round interest and clients’ wishes are acknowledged and incorporated. Lori is also willing to educate the homeowner and clearly explain how the design will work with any existing landscapes or plan for additional plantings in the future. Carriage House Landscape Design customers appreciate that they can be as involved as they wish to be with their garden project and its continued care. We are currently serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

Please help! Does anyone have in their yard or know of a mature weeping Katsura tree (Cercidiphyllum japonicum 'pendulum') in the Lehigh Valley area? Any parks, arboretums, campuses, etc.? I have a client interested in one and would like to show one at maturity. Thanks!

Had a visitor in the yard yesterday (and today again). He was bedding down along the fence under some viburnums. Had to chase him away since he was certainly enjoying the daylilies planted inside the pool fence where he shouldn't be! Outside the fence I have more deer resistant plants. He seems very young-he will have to learn where he can and cannot go or I will have to try some of my sister's venison recipes!
