Today I replaced a Heat Pump unit that had bad valves in the compressor. It was more cost effective to replace the outdoor unit than the compressor and reversing valve. Plus now they have a 10 year parts warranty. R410A units are getting in short supply. If you were thinking of replacing your current system. Nows the time

You upgrade to a new Goodman 14 Plus SEER R410A System. This customer made the right decision to replace the system instead of just a new compressor.

Late day service call yesterday. All refrigerant had leaked out of this system. I found the leak in a tight section of the attic was a kinked copper line that had a crack in it. I was able to remove the bad section and replace it. The entire system was then pressure tested to confirm no additional leaks were present. Did a full 500 micron evacuation and weighed in the specified amount of new refrigerant. The system is now purring like a kitten.

Another busy day for Community Cooling and Heating. We swapped out an aging RUDD heat pump system. New Goodman Heat pump, lineset and Air Handler. The old setup had an exposed linset. I enclose ours in Slim Duct so it is protected and has a nice neat appearance.
The heat is on so let us get your system checked out before its to late.

One of the jobs we did today. Changing a 3.5 ton heat pump. The 15 year old one had a bad compressor. We flushed the refrigeration lines with a cleaning fluid and purged them out with nitrogen to remove any contaminated elements. New unit is performing nicely with the old air handler. In some cases such as this you can replace the Heat pump and reuse the air handler. This will last perform well for many years to come.
