🚪 Another exterior door upgrade completed by Elite Handyman Solutions!

This customer had an old rusted steel exterior door that had seen better days. I removed the existing door and installed a brand-new fiberglass exterior door with a built-in blind system for a cleaner look and added privacy.

To improve durability and function, I also installed a high-end storm door with a retractable screen built in — giving the customer fresh air when they want it and protection when they need it.

I also upgraded the exterior brick molding from traditional wood trim to PVC trim, creating a zero-maintenance solution that won’t rot, warp, or require constant upkeep.

Small upgrades can make a big difference in appearance, durability, and long-term maintenance. 🔨🏠

From a rough idea to a fully custom playground set!

Our customer had a vision for a one-of-a-kind, rugged playground for their kids, and we were excited to bring it to life. Every detail was built with durability, safety, and fun in mind.

One of the biggest challenges was preventing any side-to-side movement since the design didn’t allow for traditional front and rear bracing. After careful research and planning, we installed the support posts 4 feet into the ground and secured them with concrete footers to create a solid, long-lasting foundation.

The end result? A custom playground built to handle years of memories, adventures, and plenty of playtime.

And yes, even the big kid had to test it out! 😂 I may or may not have spent some quality time on the swing making sure everything was working perfectly.

🔨 Another Happy Customer! 🔨

A homeowner recently reached out with concerns that her tongue-and-groove ceiling may have been damaged from a previous roof leak. After a thorough inspection from the attic and carefully removing the compromised paint and caulking, I was able to determine that the wood itself was still in good condition.

Instead of replacing the entire ceiling, we were able to save the existing tongue-and-groove, helping keep the project within budget. The process included:

✔️ Stripping old paint
✔️ Sanding the wood surface
✔️ Recaulking seams and joints
✔️ Repainting the ceiling

The result was a beautiful ceiling restored to an almost like-new condition without the expense of a full replacement.

To add even more value, we also installed blown-in attic insulation above the dining room. Not only did this save money by preserving the existing ceiling, but it will also provide long-term energy savings and improved comfort throughout the year.

This project started after the homeowner removed the popcorn ceiling and uncovered several issues with the ceiling — rough tape joints, peeling areas, and old patchwork showing through. I repaired and refinished the entire ceiling with a smooth Class 5 finish to give it a clean, seamless look.

To complete the update, I also relocated the electrical junction box so the new light fixture would be perfectly centered in the space.

The homeowner wanted the attic staircase to become more of a decorative feature instead of just a basic access point. We brought her vision to life by creating a custom façade that mirrors the staircase and ties the whole space together beautifully.

We finished the project off by painting the ceiling, walls, and trim to give the entire room a fresh, clean, finished appearance.

Another transformation completed — turning a problem area into a polished space that looks intentional and custom built.
