A customer reached out to Elite Handyman Solutions LLC after a water leak in their FROG (Finished Room Over Garage) caused significant damage to a large portion of their garage.

🏡 Another Deck Transformation by Elite Handyman Solutions! 🔨

The customer reached out to us wanting to spruce up their existing deck. Honestly, I would’ve loved to completely demolish it and build a beautiful new masterpiece from the ground up. 😎

But at Elite Handyman Solutions, we listen to our customers. They had a tighter budget they wanted to stick to, so we came up with a game plan that gave them the best results without breaking the bank.

Here’s what we did:

✅ Kept the existing deck structure where we could and reinforced the joists
✅ Added additional bracing to strengthen everything up
✅ Installed flashing on the joists to help protect against moisture
✅ Completely demolished the old, rickety staircase
✅ Rebuilt the staircase with five stringers instead of three for a stronger, more solid feel
✅ Added a picture-frame border around the deck
✅ Added lattice for a clean, budget-friendly finishing touch

✨ Transformation Complete! ✨

We replaced old, rotten wood railings with beautiful, low-maintenance composite railings that will last for years to come. We also upgraded worn, unreliable gates to fully functional self-closing gates for added safety and convenience.

We also replaced all the kicker boards on the steps and upgraded the post caps to solar caps for a clean, modern look with added nighttime visibility.

🏗️ Another project underway!

A customer contacted us about building a 12’ x 20’ carport, but before construction could begin, we wanted to make sure the foundation was done right.

First, we inspected the proposed location to verify there were no underground water or sewer lines that could be affected by the weight of the structure. Once everything checked out, we installed geotextile fabric followed by granite gravel instead of limestone for a longer-lasting, more durable driveway and parking area.
