The office will be closed and production work will be limited the week of November 4th. The majority of the staff will be attending the Tree Care Industry Association Expo in Baltimore. It is the largest and most comprehensive trade show and conference in the tree care industry.
We plan to discover and compare the newest equipment, gear, and software to improve work; get hands-on training through immersive, educational activities right on the trade-show floor; and gain practical skills and insights at 38 education sessions, make new connections and build lasting friendships.

Our Priority for storm damage cleanup:
1. Emergency access
2. Necessary for power restoration
3. On building with structural damage to roof. Necessary to seal roof from water.

Job Description: Do you love trees and would like to apply your knowledge in the tree care industry? C&A Arborists is a small passionate company in southwest Michigan. We focus on tree preservation and health care. We are members of the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA), International Society of Arborists (ISA), and the Arboricultural Society of Michigan (ASM). We attend local tree conferences regularly to keep up with the changing industry. We are driven by proper education and safety training and are MIOSHA compliant. We are seeking a student who is excited to incorporate themselves into a highly motivated group and help expand the company. The growth potential is endless. Further training and certifications on site and through educational conferences.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm (overtime available)

Pay Scale: Starting pay is $21 an hour with quarterly opportunities for pay increase based on training and skills.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be over 18 years of age. CDL preferred.

Don’t prune ANY oaks during the high-risk periods above. Oak wilt spreads readily during this time. Oak wilt will immediately kill any infected trees and will spread to your trees via root grafts if your neighbor prunes their oaks and they get infected. There is no treatment or cure for infected trees. Prevention is your only choice.

The fiery smoky yet bright fall color of Fraxinus americana. Such a rear site anymore. This particular specimen is in the backyard of a client. We have been treating and caring for this tree.
