It's absolutely gorgeous in Central Park today! I am in the park as I type, location scouting for this Saturday's Cherry Blossom Workshop. We have a full classed booked for Saturday, yet if you would like to paint Times Square with my group on Sunday, we have one spot remaining- so message me and you can join us!

It was a truly special start to the Spring that we experienced on Sunday. Albeit it a little cold, the sun was shining and there was nowhere else in the world I would have rather been than painting with this lovely group in Central Park! FREE day of outdoor painting tomorrow, Saturday Oct 18- Come and join in on the fun!
Have you always wanted to try painting, yet wondered where to start? Well, this is your chance to learn and give it a go! I am hosting a free community painting day in the East Village tomorrow, in conjunction with the great new art store 'Jerry's International Palette Shop'. We will be creating two large street scene paintings outside of the store and anyone who attends is welcome to grab a brush and join in on the fun. No painting experience necessary!
During this event you will also have the chance to learn about plein air painting, as well as learn more about the great range of materials available at Jerry’s and get a special 10% discount on any purchases when you mention this post. You will also have the opportunity to win art supplies or a Saturday painting class with The Plein Air painting School during our prize drawing!

NEW YORKERS!!! Have you always wanted to try painting yet been a little nervous about where to start?? I have a GREAT opportunity for you this weekend- a day you will remember forever on Sunday Sept 15! and you don't even need to own a brush! I am holding a TImes Square painting workshop this weekend FOR BEGINNERS and I have a few spots that I would like to fill as this class was listed at the last minute. My classes are small (maximum 8 people). I paint with you and show you everything you need to know, every step of the way! I am offering a discount to you and your friends on this one, which I don't normally do, as I would like to fill this workshop. I will bring paints, easel, canvas, brushes and all- you just need to show up at 1:30 pm and we paint through into the beautiful dusk and evening light until 8:30 pm. $99 for the day!! (usually $139) This price is also offered for my students who are on Facebook. Send me a message if you would like to come and I will email you directions.
