Work, play, recover! Many thanks to and for suppling the mulch and materials for our Annual It’s My Park Spring Clean-up! While we were working, our friends and neighbors kindly surprised us with an amazing treat - their delicious gelato for all! We wrapped up the day with bottles of restoring Miracle Juice, courtesy of our friends , and a well earned break! We are so thankful for our community and appreciate your generosity and support!

Clean Up and Planting Tomorrow! Please join us 10am - 12pm Sunday 10/18 to w**d, sweep + plant crocus bulbs for the spring. The number of participants will be limited to promote social distancing. Hello friends! It's been a long, challenging year, and we’re thinking of you all. As always, we are thankful for you, the William Sheridan Playground community, and the spirit that continues to thrive there - as we all try to, safely, find our way through these times. Over the past several weeks, as we’ve moved into autumn, the Friends of have been thinking a lot about ways we can help support our community, caring for the playground now and looking ahead to the spring. We are very happy to announce that, in partnership with we will be hosting a park clean up and planting event on Sunday, October 18, 10 am - 12 pm. Please join us to w**d, sweep, and plant! Crocus bulbs will be provided. Registration will be limited to help promote social distancing, and face coverings will be required for all participants. BYO gloves and masks, please DM us with any questions. Registration info and details to follow, please stay tuned!

BIG NEWS!! We are so happy to announce the William Sheridan Playground Capital Project Scope Meeting will be held Tuesday 10/30/18 at PS 84 Jose De Diego 250 Berry Street, Brooklyn NY 11249 !! All community members are welcome, come share your vision for a revitalized !
This meeting marks the official start of the Capital Project renovation; project designers and Parks Department representatives will be present to discuss planning and gather input from the community ... please join us to share your feedback and vision. Many thanks to and for all of your support and effort in this process, looking forward to getting started! ✨
