TWD was started by Tara Wilson, a former Vh1 exec who left her job to raise two young children. Like any parent wanting photos of her kids around the apartment, she quickly found her home cluttered with picture

frames. Frustrated and always in need of clever gifts, Tara came up with the idea of putting photographs in high-end, well-crafted household items. TWD has quickly grown since launching in 2010, with products now carried in over 50 stores throughout the world.
