There's nothing quite like the smell of warm, cheesy goodness wafting from the kitchen on a cozy morning. These Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are a delightful hug in food form, perfect for starting your day on a high note!
Ingredients:
🥚 5 eggs
🥐 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
🌭 8 chicken sausage links
🧀 4 slices Cheddar cheese
🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a small bowl, beat the eggs, setting aside 2 tablespoons to brush on the crescent rolls later.
3. Scramble the remaining eggs until fluffy and fully cooked.
4. On a clean work surface, unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
5. Cut each slice of cheese in half and place one half on each triangle.
6. Spoon some of the scrambled eggs onto each triangle, and add one chicken sausage link.
7. Loosely roll up the triangles, starting at the wider end, and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Brush the tops with the reserved beaten eggs, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
9. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and irresistible.
