From the first time Calatrava created finger-like concrete structures to this transport hub at World Trade Center,NYC, I wonder what he was things. From with out, they look like wings about to take flight, but within, it feels like being in some kind of rib cage.

Pattern and ornamentation is an integral part of successful design. Love this creative use of a pattern and having it disintegrate from top to bottom creating an ombré effect from afar.
