Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9×13-inch dish.

In a large pan over medium heat, soften the cream cheese until nearly melted.

These soft, frosted sugar cookies dressed up in red, white, and blue will be the star of your 4th of July table! 🎆

Ingredients:

2 cups cake flour

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

½ cup salted butter, softened

¼ cup butter flavored shortening, softened

1 whole egg

1 egg white

1½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp cream of tartar

3 tsp vanilla extract

Frosting:

1 cup salted butter, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp clear imitation vanilla (or regular vanilla extract)

4–5 tbsp heavy cream

Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Directions:

In a bowl, whisk cake flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and cream of tartar.

In another bowl, beat together sugar, butter, and shortening until fluffy. Mix in vanilla, whole egg, then egg white. Scrape down sides.

Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet until combined. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

8 medium potatoes, scrubbed and dried

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon kosher or sea salt

½ pound bacon, cooked and chopped

6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

¾ cup mayonnaise

¾ cup sour cream

4 green onions, sliced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Topping:

¼ pound bacon, cooked and chopped

2 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

2 green onions, sliced

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Rub potatoes with olive oil and salt. Bake 45–60 minutes or until fork tender, flipping halfway. Let cool 15 minutes.

Reduce oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch square or 9x13-inch baking dish.

Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces (some crumbling is fine).

In a bowl, mix potatoes with mayo, sour cream, cheese, bacon, and green onions.

8 black tea bags

4 cups strawberries, chopped

12 oz imitation crab meat, chopped or flaked

1 cup celery, diced

½ cup red onion, finely chopped

⅓ cup green onions, thinly sliced

1 cup frozen peas, thawed

Directions:

Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Let cool completely.

In a bowl, whisk together mayo, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay, salt, pepper, dill, and pickles.

2 cups cubed stew beef

3 cups frozen peppers and onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup soy sauce

⅓ cup beef broth

1 tbsp cornstarch

⅓ cup cold water

Cooked white rice, for serving

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions:

Place beef in the slow cooker, then layer peppers and onions on top.

In a bowl, mix garlic, sugar, pepper, Worcestershire, soy sauce, and beef broth. Pour over beef and veggies.

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.

Once beef is tender, mix cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl to make a slurry.

Stir slurry into the slow cooker and mix until sauce thickens.
