Join us on Wednesday at 6:30 - 8:00 pm EST as we welcome new architects at our committee meeting and learn about their journey to licensure. We will review data on registration stats over the pst 20 years in NYC.

Last chance to register for our 12th-Annual Speed Mentoring event! This event is one of WIA’s core programs, providing networking opportunities for women architects at all levels and facilitating interaction across multiple professional levels. Participants are encouraged to offer advice, share experiences, and discuss career goals.

The event is structured so that each attendee will meet in virtual breakout rooms with professionals of all levels in three 20-minute sessions for informal discussions. Each session will be helmed by one of AIANY WIA’s mentors, many of whom are partners or principals at their firms. This year, the committee is going VIRTUAL with 24 MENTORS! We are very excited to have Sara Lopergolo, AIA, Partner at Selldorf Architects, join us at the Beyer Blinder Belle office, Wednesday, October 16, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm for our Women in Architecture Monthly Committee Meeting, with a special design presentation.

In a Pre-Women’s Leadership Summit event in Minneapolis last month, Sara showcased her projects of The Frick Collection and the Museum of Contemporary Arts San Diego in a Design Salon to a group of women architects from Minneapolis, which she will share with members of our committee.
