John didn’t talk about his Dad a lot. I remember one time I walked into his room and he was reading this book and he said, “Obs look at this. I think it was a book on the first 100 days of his father‘s presidency he was like I mean, can you believe that he did all this stuff in 100 days?” You know he was an all he was just sitting there by himself and just amazed like Michael Jordan scoring 70 points in a basketball game or something.
He had his father‘s chair that had been in the Oval Office the chair he sat in as a president and John had it in his dorm room he would always joke around like what if I’m president he would be in my cabinet. He’s leaning back in that chair and he goes. Who do I have in my cabinet This person would be Secretary of State. This one would be secretary of the treasury and he goes Obers. I think you’d be an aid and he just started laughing so hard. He always had that rubbing thing he was good at it.”
