Good afternoon! I've been getting lots of questions about this spring and making sure I will be doing flowers! I love it! I do want to offer flowers in some capacity our move meant I had to downsize all my outside things, and we no longer have the greenhouse. I'm working on figuring out what that looks like now as several people have said they only want me doing their flowers which I appreciate so much! flowers are my happy place and I love seeing others happy with our flowers! That being said, I think my biggest thing right now is doing a pre-sold basket. So if you know how many baskets you want for sure, I will be able to make those and do all orders the same time for same week pick up/ delivery. I will be working on pricing as that will be a bit more as I can't grow my own inventory and have to rely on the market. that said I'm hoping to still provide affordable baskets! If there is something specific you are wanting please reach out and let's chat. I'm shooting to have these order done and pick ups for:
April 28th - May 1st
May 5th- 7th
after those dates we would we need to schedule. and do a pre-order. I'm going to try and work on misc. plants as well but that's not guarantee we will have that. please don't hesitate to comment, DM, Email, or text. all input is helpful and I will put more information out as we navigate the flower season!

How are those fall colors coming along??? We have officially moved into our new home. So much change happening and with that everyone has been asking what the flowers will look like this next spring! I’m still figuring out what that will look like. I’m currently not in a space to grow like we did this last year, BUT I will be doing baskets and such I just need to figure out how that will look. Stay tuned as we plan for next season!

Some changes are in the air my friends! we have a lot of moving parts ( literally) happening in our family right now. We have sold our current home and are pending on a beautiful home fingers crossed we will move around September. With that said there will be changes come to The Secret Garden:
1. We will not have the ability to have our own greenhouse at the new home, which means next spring will be looking different.
2. What does next season look like? We are still talking about it and what this means. Its looking like more Custom Made baskets and special orders. It will not be on the scale it was this year.
3. We would love to open a seasonal spot for spring/ June for plant buying in the local area. I don't have a plan yet for this next spring as our plate is super full at the moment with a big change of home.
4. I'm working and will take the fall to create a website with things we will be offering and one of those things will be seeds, if there are certain seeds like veggies and flowers you are looking for please reach out, I have a large selection to choose from.
5. I will be setting up our new home to have a cutting garden to do bouquets next year. we will be starting from scratch so it will be a curve and I can't promise much at the moment for next season.
6. Bare with us as we navigate this new chapter and the capacity at which we can provide flowers.

As always I'm so honored to serve this beautiful community and help bring spots of joy to everyone's porches and yards! I'd love to see photos of those hanging baskets and porch pots from this year! I've seen some already and they are beautiful, Remember now is the time to fertilize TWICE a week and make sure you don't miss a watering! This weeks bouquets are sunflowers and orange! I think we will also have a couple pink bouquets as well!

Flower bouquets have all gone to their new homes! What a great start to market bouquets this week! If you are wanting a bouquet next week I’m mostly full I can squeeze in a couple more so let me know ASAP! Next week will more then likely have sunflowers in them!!! All bouquets come with a packet of plant food for your vase to prolong the life of the bouquet 💐

I’m going to start doing Sm. And Lg. Market bouquets! Currently it will probably be around 3 large ones a week and 3 small ones a week. I’m planting more so it will be changing!

What a beautiful morning to wake up to! 64 degrees never felt more better! New blooms have opened and I have some baskets that I will be giving some extra attention too! Yesterday zapped just about everything but my rosemary 😂😭 heavy heavy watering last night and these cool temps and a lot of things look like they are recovered/recovering. Don’t forget to fertilize this week!

I'll be honest this heat in the PNW is brutal right now! I've been watering morning and night and spot watering during the day. I've literally put shade covers over some plants and they still are droopy! I've lost 7 hanging baskets so far and a couple pots are just about toast! this is not easy to keep these babies alive! tomorrow everything will get fertilized but I'm shocked at how hot this has been and how fast the plants died! make sure you give those plants some extra love and fertilizer this week! another tip I've been doing is watering until the water coming out of the bottom is cold! when it runs out feel it, mine has been so hot those poor plants are not catching any breaks! Make sure you are staying hydrated while hydrating your plants! Share those pictures of the baskets lets see how we are doing! Hang in there tomorrows 93 is going to feel like SNOW! Be safe friends! plants are replaceable you are not!
