Snow on the ground didn’t slow this project down ❄️

We’re out here putting up Exceed siding, even in the winter weather. It’s always satisfying to look back at a job from the first day to now and seeing how far it’s come. From old walls rotted timber to a clean, modern exterior, with New windows no rot, New deck and the best of the best.... this one is coming together nicely.

Cold hands, solid work, and another exterior transformation in progress.

What started as a not so simple window replacement turned into a full front-side rebuild and we were ready for it.

After installing new windows on the front of the home, we discovered extensive rot around the entry door and floor system. removing the door, cut out the compromised section of flooring, and sistered new floor joists to strengthen the structure.

With a little game of “Jenga” in the stud wall, we repaired all damaged framing, installed the new door, applied Zip Tape, Insalated with spray foam, and we will be wrapping the home for added protection.

Next siding and trim, sheetrock and woodwork then paint

The job site is now fully cleaned up and this new deck is ready for its close-up.

What's Next?

This is just Part One of a larger exterior renovation for this home. The deck is now patiently waiting for the next phase to kick off, which includes all new siding and window installation. We're excited to see how this modern deck integrates with the fresh look of the completed house!

Whats it take to make 8ft stairs!!!!!
Let me tell ya.
These stairs are the only way I like to build. We call it picture framed
This decking is composite and needs to be framed 12 oc and needs to be as close to a 7/11 as possible for comfort.
Meaning there are 11 stringers 198 cuts to make these
Then there is the decking cut at 45 degree angle to create the picture frame...there are 72 cuts
With all the deck boards cut and ready to be placed happily with a 1/4 gap being sure to space them evenly
There are 365 screw to pre drill and 365 plugs to put in.

And just like that after 8 hrs of time you have yourself a beautiful set of stairs.

Home project. Our bathroom was extremely small, with limited space that could only accommodate an 18-inch vanity by 12 inches, placed directly against the wall. I had been contemplating renovations for some time and, as of today, I have finally taken action. I expanded the bathroom by three feet, rewired the outlets and lighting to support flush-mount and vanity lighting, installed sheetrock and tile flooring, and put in a 36-inch vanity. Additionally, I created a feature wall and incorporated gold and black accents and fixtures, transforming the space into a spa-like atmosphere.
