Good Morning Friends! Rain or Shine, we are at the Farmer's Market today, 9am-noon. I have NEW ITEMS with me again today!
I concocted up an allergy relief blend that is 👌. It's all natural and full of anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties! After being sold out of herbal bug spray, I got more made and brought 16oz bottles with me. I brought some curled parsley plants today. I also have all of my usual. Good Morning Friends! I will be missing you all at the market today. Thanks to all of you amazing people, Roots & Remedies has sold out of 3 products and needs to restock. I also decided I needed a slow Saturday morning with my little family since I haven't been able to have a Saturday morning at our new home yet. I will be back next weekend, restocked and ready to go!

I have a NEW ITEM DROP this morning & I'm hoping you love it as much as I do! It's all natural, deep free BUG & TICK SPRAY. it contains Eucalyptus essential oil which acts like deet and oregano oil with has been proven in studies to kill ticks!

I've been gone for awhile and honestly, it's because life has a way of happening and always keeping us on our toes. My sweet family found a wonderful opportunity and we jumped! We moved to an acreage. We went from thinking about it to prepping and listing our house to moving in 2 1/2 months. I wasn't able to start seeds this year, but promise to make up for it next year! I cannot wait to share more of this journey with you and continue providing everyone with clean convenience for when life happens. 🥰 🌱🌿

We had a wonderful time visiting with women from all over looking for a more holistic approach to all facets of life. We were very appreciative to have the opportunity to have a booth at the EmpowHER Womens conference.
We also debuted new items: Herbal lotion bars! Along with the hair care products of dry shampoo powder and hair detangler.

I've been busy making NEW, all-natural hair products that will make mornings run smoother, both literally and figuratively! They've been tried and used by myself and family with great results.

The dry shampoo powder has been formulated for either light or dark hair. I use the dark dry shampoo to not only extend my time until my next hair wash day, but also for extra volume. I also haven't seen residue left on my hair after massaging it into my scalp and a quick comb through and style. I have also added lavender, Rosemary and peppermint essential oils leaving an invigorating fragrance as you move through your busy days.
The hair detangler is my favorite product to date as it has made my mornings so much smoother. As some of you know, I have a son with shoulder length curls that he loves, except when we have to comb through them. Even with store bought products, he would scream, cry and run away as I was trying to get through tangles in the morning. I'm proud to say, with our product, there has been no screaming, tears or running away. He sits still, says he loves the smell and actually chats with me while I comb his hair every morning. I use pure aloe, which I scrape out of the leaf, to condition the hair, along with rosemary, lavender and sweet orange essential oils for a fresh scent.

Clean convenience for those busy mornings! 🏃‍♀️
I have been making my own dry shampoo powder that absorbs scalp oils and adds texture to my fine hair for an easy, quick, put together look for my crazy mornings around here. I have struggled to find a dry shampoo that doesn't look like I dumped my head into a white powder bucket due to my dark hair color. This has solved that problem.

I have made a version for dark hair, and another for light hair. It's easy to apply with a makeup brush on your roots and massage gently. This dry shampoo has been infused with peppermint, lavender and rosemary essential oils to make it smell amazing and nourish your scalp.

Hi friends. I have had to step away for a bit. I noticed a shingles rash pop up on New Years Eve. I've taken time to heal and slow down. While I still have a bit of soreness in my shoulder and fatigue, I'm feeling so much better everyday.

I took this shingles diagnosis as a sign I should make an antiviral ointment and I can attest to it working. I used what I had on hand since I didn't want to wait for product to arrive, and then make this. The itching subsided, the rash did not spread and stayed in a 3" area on my chest/shoulder and never made it to my side or back. I have no doubt this ointment helped stop viral replication, made my down time less and my recovery much easier. As a bonus, it smells light, fresh and lemony.

So what's in it?
Lemon Balm - antiviral properties and reduces inflammation
Calendula - restores tissues, decreases irritation, promotes skin healing
Peppermint - cooling sensation to relieve pain and discomfort, decrease inflammation
Eucalyptus - cooling sensation to relieve pain and discomfort, increase circulation to tissues to promote repair
Tea Tree - antiviral and antibacterial properties to prevent further infection
