It was a great day for ice cream. Today we helped a friend of a friend with some refrigeration piping in his good humor ice cream truck. He has put a lot of time into restoring this truck and could not continue without reconnecting the piping to the box. Soon we will replace some of the refrigeration controls and test the refrigeration system. It is always fun to work on different projects outside of the normal hvac work and talk to people who have passion for their work.

We can't say enough good things about Fujitsu ductless split systems. This install was performed for a couple with a basement apartment. They didn't have many options for equipment placement. We drilled through an 18" wall to get our piping to the outside. It was one of the tougher jobs but we are pleased with the results and so are our customers. Equipment is a 12,000 BTU ductless split system with air conditioning and heat.

Finished this install in a condo in Belmar this past week. The owners decided to replace their aging packaged through the wall unit with this stylish ductless Fujitsu 15,000 btu heat pump. Due to limited wall space and concern over placement of piping on the outside wall we had to remove some window trim and run piping on the inside wall. It covered up well with slim duct. This installation proves that ductless systems have endless possibilities for installs.

Here our some pics of a recently completed job. We replaced an old, leaky r-22 refrigeration system in a walk-in cooler at a local bar. I like to call it a lean in cooler since it was only about 5 of head room. We used a preassembled trenton evaporator and a copeland condenser.
