I couldn't happen but notice today that an oak tree, seemingly healthy had advanced stages of rot while staying completely intact and presumably completely healthy.

This tree came out to put in a deck while it was still small and not overbearing on the house and newly built deck. At some point the top of this white oak would have come down on the house from what looks to be drought symptom rot.

This is what arborists are now calling zombie trees. I need to rethink my level of trust in trees moving forward.

The long awaited final business launch.

Thank you to everyone who's given me a chance here.

Not quite the final version but I've been asked about a price list, its not all on here yet but its close. One of the many other choices of services include gutter cleaning, home holiday decorating, general property cleanup, dumping and will likely be one of those brave souls out getting driveways clear in the ice!

I've been seeing this in the Columbia gorge too, theres already big Douglas fir limbs peeling out of old city trees, please use caution and look up at your trees, it might shock you.

Last winter's harsh ice storm coupled with record heat and drought have left trees susceptible to rot, damage and failure, warn arborists.

On a visit at a clients house to make a plant stand out of a stump, i happened to look over at the apple trees i pruned for her; with the full disclosure that this years apples probably wont be the best, but i just about fell over when i saw them LOADED with deliciously red, ripe apples.

If you want your apple trees to produce healthy edible apples, a routine orchard prune is necessary to shock the tree into the fruiting phase. works like a charm!

Hi there! Thank you for seeing this post! Really it means so much to me as i start this new leg of my journey through life.

a little about me, growing up i always had an affinity for 2 stroke things like hedge trimmers and chainsaws, the smell of cut grass and the sounds of sprinklers running. after having worked in construction from the time of 12 up until i was 22 as well as spending a summer cutting golf course greens, i got into an apprenticeship to do powerline clearance trimming on trees in portland oregon. that didnt really suit me being so close to power, i ended up going to the residential side of tree care where my expercience and on hand training mixed with book training got me to where i am today. i took time off to get certified as a small engine mechanic as well.
