Whether you’re discovering our body collection for the first time or already love our products, this is an easy and fun way to experience one of our most-loved offerings.

• One custom 4 oz body scrub
• One complimentary drink

No scheduled time slots needed. Simply stop by anytime between 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM and we’ll guide you through the experience. Each customization takes approximately 10 minutes.

Happy Aloha Friday…let’s share some Aloha!

Entrepreneurship is not easy. You give up a lot to bet on yourself, your vision, and the hope that all of the hard work will someday pay off.

That’s why I’m always impressed when I see someone young pursuing it.

I know I’ve mentioned him before, but I just have to do it again.

This is Jaren. He’s our neighbor, and let me tell you, he’s a special kind of person. Some people are simply wired with a strong work ethic, determination, and drive and somehow he’s all of that while also being an incredibly kind and respectful young man.

He’s always working. School, yard work, church, his business,
you name it. He’s so trustworthy that when we’re out of town, he’s the person we trust to grab our packages and keep an eye on things. Truly an exemplary young man.

A while back, he started his own detailing business, and we’ve taken our vehicles to him ever since. His attention to detail is incredible. He’s continued to invest back into his business, upgrade his equipment, and take pride in his work.

If you’re local and looking to have your vehicle detailed, I encourage you to give him a chance. I genuinely don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Supporting local is always a win-win. Supporting a hardworking young entrepreneur who’s building something for himself? That’s an even bigger win.

A little unknown fact about me…before candles, before Marketing, I spent several years working in the printing industry.

Which means I probably know way too much about direct mail, paper stocks, finishes, and all things print-related. 😂

But honestly, it shaped so much of how I view products today.

I’ve had people ask, “Does packaging really matter that much?”

For me, the answer will always be yes.

Not because fancy packaging makes a product better, but because it’s part of the experience. It’s the first thing you see, the first thing you touch, and often the first impression of all the work that went into what’s inside.

I love a beautifully printed label. Give me texture, embossing, debossing, foil, specialty finishes, unique papers…and I’m a happy person. I probably get a little too excited about things most people don’t even notice. 😂

It’s also why we spend so much time thinking about vessels, labels, boxes, and presentation. The product itself will always be the most important part, but I believe the packaging should feel intentional too.

Just a little behind-the-scenes look at why I obsess over details. Years later, that printing background still finds its way into almost everything we create.

I’ve heard it a handful of times lately…
“I’m going to wait until Galentines.”

And honestly, I get it. The last 3 years of Galentines have been such a special season for us. The conversations, the laughter, the community, the memories…it’s been something we’ll never forget.

But as we move into a new season for ‘Ike Loa, we’ve made the decision that we will not be hosting Galentines in 2027.

This year’s Summer Soirée will also mark our finale for the “big shows.”
