The Adventures of Neo & Bingo 🌟 Children's Book Author | Storyteller Inspired by Rescued Pets | Bringing Joy & Imagination to Young Readers

Storytelling has always been a part of me, and I have always dreamed of being a writer. As a young dreamer, I filled nearly 60 notebooks with poems, stories, and reflections, but life, well its life and it took me on a different path—until now. With a little (okay, a LOT of) encouragement from my husband, I’ve returned to my passion. To be honest, I never imagined my first published book would be

a heartwarming children’s story. I always pictured myself writing romance or even a sci-fi adventure. But sometimes, inspiration finds you in the most unexpected places. Watching my rescue dogs, Neo and Bingo, interact with each other, I realized they had their own story to tell—one full of lessons, laughter, and adventure. And just like that, The Adventures of Neo & Bingo series was born! My debut children’s book, Neo’s Big Ball Hunt, is now published! Living on a five-acre farm in McAlpin, Florida (a big shift from my Ohio roots), I’m surrounded by the very animals that inspire my stories. Through my books, I hope to spark imagination, laughter, and a love of reading in children everywhere—all while celebrating the joy and adventures that rescue animals bring into our lives.

The Granny Tidbits Homestead

Everything I make starts off as something to be upcycled or helps you to recycle. I use items that are still in good condition to make something new and unique so you can feel good that when you purchase an item from Granny Tidbits, you’re also helping to make the planet a better place to live.
