I don’t know about you, but I love the elegance and nostalgia of decor from 30 years ago. The era of home parties that offered repops of beautiful antique decor made of practical materials and prices a that middle class America could afford, make me feel nostalgic for simpler times. East Aurora has been named as one of two winners in the Northeast, alongside Montpelier, Vt., in PARADE Magazine’s America’s Favorite Small Towns competition and is officially a finalist for the national title.

Featured in PARADE’s latest issue, East Aurora is recognized for the history, charm, and experiences that make it such a special place to visit, including the Roycroft Campus, Vidler’s 5 & 10, the Aurora Theatre, and so much more.

It’s a struggle every time. I find a cool piece that I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up only to discover it has damage. Question: Would you pick it up with the damage and try to repair it, or would you leave it behind?
