Excited to soon be painting again. Not taking orders. Finally started getting a room set up. Will be branching out to many more types of crafts, not just gourds! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and planning for family and friends to celebrate Christmas.

Don't forget to help protect your gourds (especially during all this continuous rain) or to bring them back to life with a facelift. Gentle scrub with soap and water, dry then spray a coat of Krylon crystal clear Acrylic spray or polyurethane spray is best! Both found at any hardware store.

My art room is still all packed away. Unable to paint still. Hopefully we can clear out a place this Winter where I can get back to work. Lots still keeping me busy right now though, so all is good.

Death in the immediate family. I am sorry I will be unable to take gourd orders until further notice probably early Winter, Please stay on board my page, will resume again soon as possible. Can't wait to paint again but pressing urgent issues will be taking up my time for couple months in the very least.

Helpful tip: If you are carving a watermelon (without putting the pulp back in.) For a summer party or a Gourd, pumpkin, squash at Halloween - Need to remember this! Make that Carving Last - Spray a mixture of bleach and water on the inside of your fresh carved item daily or coat the inside w/ petroleum jelly to keep mold and dehydration at bay. amazing idea!

Calico cat bird feeder. 12" tall x 8 inches wide. Mouth opening is 2 1/2 x 5" wide. Water drain holes in bottom. Tongue is mounted on dowel rod goes through to back side. Sturdy. This is a hand painted, carved and sculpted gourd. Gourds last a life time and with minimal care painting will continue to look nice year after year. This gourd looks really cute hanging outside and will be a great conversation piece with the birds walking right into the mouth for feed.
